So I went through like fifty thousand ideas for my blog name. I was gonna use my tumblr username, but then I realized that I really don't want this blog connected to my actual identity in any way. And while I've done a good-ish job of keeping my tumblr free from my identification, I know that I reference myself by name and have some pictures up there. I looked at song lyrics but all the good ones were already taken. I was all about "GoodbyeRain," which is from THE BEST SONG EVER: Queen Jane by the Milk Carton Kids and if you haven't heard of it youtube it NOW THERE ARE NO EXCUSES. So while you listen to it, I will complain at the fact that Goodbye Rain was already taken. Damnitall. So I ended up settling for TheEndOfMyCampaign because it represents my desire to keep this blog anonymous. Y'all know who I am if you're reading it because I gave you the link. If someone who just stumbled across this reads it, I would like it to be AnOnYmOuS as to my identity because I really want a place to get real deep and real personal while knowing I have an audience, but without having to worry about censoring myself if someone else reads it. I'll probably make up false names for people I talk about like, I don't know, Justin, the guy I'm currently in love with but you'll hear about him all the time later. But his name's not actually Justin. Hah i'm clever. I'm gonna be eligible to run for public office in 2028, and I WANT TO DO THAT SO BADLY but like I'm also terrified at my social media presence from age like 12. It's gonna be scrutinized and I'm already gonna have so much not fun working with the public stuff I post, that the idea that something like this or GOD FORBID MY TUMBLR ever gets found is kinda terrifying. But at the same time I don't want to censor myself because that feels dishonest? So I'm hoping that this can be a place for me to blog as honestly as possible about my life without worrying about who might find it. Yeash.
